- During sports driving, oil is expelled along with blow-by gases. Although an oil catch tank can store the expelled oil, the amount of oil remaining inside the engine decreases accordingly. If this condition persists, it may eventually lead to severe issues such as engine bearing damage due to oil shortage. Since the launch of the R32 GT-R, Mine’s has been continuously engaging in time attacks on circuits, battling against time and blow-by oil issues. Through repeated trials and errors, we have successfully achieved a significant reduction in expelled oil volume without resorting to large-scale systems or redesigning engine component clearances. In the Mine’s R34 GT-R, the system has been further refined in detail, resulting in this product which can be installed onto the stock cam cover with minimal modification while delivering substantial effectiveness. Naturally, it is compatible with the R32, R33, and R34 GT-R models.

In the RB26 engine, engine oil delivered to the cylinder head tends to accumulate there due to the structural design, as it cannot immediately return to the engine block. This oil, affected by vehicle acceleration, deceleration, and cornering forces, shifts and is expelled along with blow-by gases. The Mine’s Triple Flow Cam Cover Baffle Plate adopts a triple-layer structure that consistently secures a passageway for the gases. Additionally, by incorporating a gas/oil separator and reducing the flow speed of the blow-by gases, it effectively decreases the amount of oil expelled from the engine.
