Important: Changes to U.S. Shipments and Customs Duties

Effective August 29, 2025, the United States is suspending the de minimis rule. Previously, this rule allowed shipments valued at under $800 USD to enter the country duty-free. With this change, all orders shipped to the U.S. will now be subject to customs duties and taxes, regardless of their value.

For Our Valued U.S. Customers

You may be charged for customs duties, taxes, and handling fees upon delivery of your order. These charges are determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Important Note on Shipping

Japan Post has temporarily suspended most shipments to the U.S. because they do not offer a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service.

Our company operates on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means the prices listed on our website do not include international taxes, duties, or import fees. You are responsible for paying these charges directly to the shipping carrier or the customs office upon your package's arrival.

Understanding Customs and Fees

  • What's Included in Your Invoice: Our invoices cover the cost of the products and shipping but do not include any international fees. You will be responsible for paying any import taxes or duties directly to the shipping carrier.

  • Questions about Fees: For specific questions about potential fees, we recommend contacting your local customs office or the shipping carrier directly. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information. If you have any remaining questions, please contact us before placing your order.

We understand these changes can be confusing, and we appreciate your understanding. We are committed to making your shopping experience as smooth as possible.
